JustLogbook

Terms and Conditions of Use

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1. Who we are

JustLogbook (the «Platform») is a service provided by ICMB Demi SL, tax ID B63796189, registered office at Otero Pedrayo 51, 36340 Nigrán (Pontevedra), Spain, registered with the Commercial Registry of Pontevedra. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern access to and use of JustLogbook, a digital logbook for pilots: flight records, hours tracking, licence and rating management, aircraft logbooks and data export. It is available on web, iOS and Android.

By creating an account you accept these terms. To use JustLogbook you must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a contract.

The Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy apply alongside these terms and form part of the contract.

3. Account and registration

You need an account to use the Platform. The details you provide must be true and kept up to date. You can sign up with an email and password or with your Google account.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for the activity carried out from your account. Let us know at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may suspend or close your account if you use it fraudulently or in serious breach of these terms. We will tell you and, unless the law prevents it, give you the chance to export your data first.

4. Plans, prices and payments

JustLogbook has a free plan and paid subscription plans, monthly or annual. The features, prices and duration of each plan are set out on the pricing page, which forms part of the pre-contractual information.

Prices are shown in euros with VAT included. When you subscribe you will receive a confirmation email with the plan, the amount and the renewal date.

If you subscribe on the web, payment is handled by Stripe. If you subscribe inside the iOS or Android app, the purchase is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play: they take the payment and handle cancellations and refunds under their own policies, and we never see your payment details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, monthly or annual, until you cancel.

If we change the price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before the new price applies; if you do not, the subscription will renew at the new price.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have 14 calendar days from purchase to withdraw, without giving reasons and without penalty.

JustLogbook is a digital service with immediate access: by subscribing you expressly request that it starts right away and acknowledge that you will lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, under Article 103(m) of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act (TRLGDCU).

Even so, if you write to us within those 14 days and have not made substantial use of the service, we will refund you. Just email [email protected].

If you subscribed from the iOS or Android app, refunds are requested from Apple or Google under their policies.

6. Cancellation and account closure

You can cancel your subscription at any time: on the web, from your profile; on mobile, from the subscription settings in the App Store or Google Play.

When you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and then stops renewing. There is no pro-rata refund for the current period, except in the withdrawal case above or where the law requires it.

You can delete your account from your profile. It is deactivated immediately and the data is deleted within the periods set out in the Privacy Policy. Export your logbook to PDF or Excel first if you want to keep it.

7. Your obligations

When using the Platform you agree to:

  • Use JustLogbook in accordance with the law and these terms.
  • Not access accounts, services or restricted areas without authorisation, or interfere with how the Platform works.
  • Not extract data in bulk using automated systems, or resell the service without our written authorisation.
  • Not upload unlawful or offensive content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Record truthful data in your logbook and not falsify it to evidence hours or experience to third parties.
  • Inform the people whose data you enter (instructors, co-pilots or members of a shared logbook) that their data is in JustLogbook and what it is used for.

8. Your content and shared data

The flights, photos, tracks and documents you upload remain yours. We use them solely to provide the service and you can export or delete them at any time.

You grant us only the technical licence needed to host, process and display that content within the service, for example to calculate your hours or generate your PDF. We do not use it for anything else and we do not share it for advertising.

When you share a flight or an aircraft logbook, that content becomes visible to the other participants. Before entering other people's data, make sure you are allowed to and that you have told them.

9. Intellectual property

The software, design, texts, the JustLogbook brand and the other elements of the Platform belong to ICMB Demi SL or to third parties that have licensed them to us.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use for as long as your account lasts. You may not copy, modify, decompile, resell or otherwise exploit the Platform without our prior written authorisation.

10. Availability and liability

We work to keep JustLogbook available at all times, but we cannot guarantee an uninterrupted, error-free service. We may take the service down for maintenance and will give notice whenever possible.

JustLogbook does not replace the official flight record required by your aviation authority (AESA, EASA or any other). You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of your records and for their validity before authorities, flight schools, clubs or operators.

Helper features (automatic hour calculation, OCR reading of your paper logbook, licence expiry reminders) are an aid, not a guarantee. Always check the result before relying on it.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit. None of the above limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor does it affect the consumer rights you cannot waive.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms or the service for technical, legal or business reasons.

If a change is significant for you, we will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance, explaining what changes and from when.

If you do not agree, you can terminate the contract without penalty before the change takes effect by writing to [email protected]. We will refund the proportional part of the paid period you will not use.

12. Data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. It explains what data we use, on what legal basis, which providers are involved and how to exercise your rights.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law.

If you are a consumer, any dispute will be heard by the courts of your place of residence, under Article 90.2 of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act (TRLGDCU). If you are not acting as a consumer, the courts of Pontevedra will have jurisdiction.

Before going to court you can write to [email protected] so we can try to solve the problem. You may also use alternative consumer dispute resolution schemes, such as consumer arbitration boards, if both parties agree.
